Privacy
This site is built so that there is very little to say here. The calculators do not send your numbers anywhere, there is no account, no analytics product and no advertising technology. What follows describes what actually happens, including the parts that are outside anyone’s control.
Calculator values stay in your browser
Every calculation runs in the page itself, on the values you type. Those values are held in the browser tab’s memory while you use the tool and are discarded when you close or reload it.
- No calculator input or result is transmitted to this site’s server or to anyone else.
- Nothing is written to cookies, local storage or session storage.
- No value appears in the page URL, so nothing lands in browser history or a referrer header.
- There is no saved scenario, no shareable result link and no account to sign into.
There is no server-side form handler, no background network request and no third-party script receiving your inputs. That is a property of how the tools are built, not a policy that could be changed without rebuilding them.
Copying and printing are actions you take
The Copy result button places a plain-text summary of your own assumptions and results on your clipboard, using your browser’s clipboard. Print opens your browser’s print dialog. Both include the numbers you entered, because that is their purpose, and neither sends anything anywhere. Where those figures go afterwards is entirely up to you.
The inquiry controls on Find Financing
The Find Financing page lets you choose a financing purpose, a state, an optional second state, an amount band and a timing option, and assembles a short message from those choices. That assembly happens in your browser. The controls are deliberately not a submitting form: there is no submission target, so the values cannot leak into a URL even if scripts fail.
Choosing to open your email application hands the drafted message to that application. Nothing is sent until you send it, and the message is processed only once it arrives, by whatever email provider you use, and then by the mailbox shown on that page.
Do not email sensitive material
Email is not a secure channel for financial or confidential documents, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise. Please do not send:
- Social Security numbers or taxpayer identification numbers
- Tax returns, bank statements or credit reports
- Practice financial statements or loan documents
- Any patient information
- Passwords, account numbers or login credentials
- Confidential or privileged legal documents
Financial records and application material belong in the lender’s own approved channel, requested by that lender. If a request for documents ever appears to come from this site, treat it as illegitimate and verify it directly with the lender.
What hosting necessarily records
This is a static site served by a hosting provider. Delivering any page over the internet involves ordinary technical records: the request, the IP address it came from, the time, the user agent, and similar server log data. That is normal infrastructure operation, it exists for security and reliability, and it is not something this site could truthfully promise does not happen. It is not combined with anything you type into a calculator, because those values never reach a server.
No analytics product, tag manager, advertising pixel, session-replay tool, heatmap or fingerprinting script runs on this site. No script here records which controls you use, what text you enter, or a URL containing your data. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising, because nothing is collected to sell.
Links to other sites
The lender guide links to lenders’ official public pages. Following such a link takes you to that organisation, which has its own privacy practices. This site embeds no third-party content, frames, fonts or widgets, so simply loading a page here does not contact anyone else.
Children
This site is intended for dental practice owners, buyers and their advisers. It is not directed at children and requests no information from them.
If you send an inquiry
An inquiry you choose to send is read by a person. Your contact details come from the message you sent, not from anything collected here. Nothing is forwarded to a lender automatically: permission is requested for a specifically named lender, and for specified information, before anything is shared. Sending a message to this platform is not consent to be distributed to lenders generally.
There is no marketing list and no automated follow-up sequence. You can ask for your message and any notes from it to be deleted, and that will be done except where a record must be kept for a legitimate administrative or legal reason.
Contacting us about privacy
Privacy questions can be sent to financing@2147finance.com. Please do not include any of the sensitive material listed above.
Changes to this page
This page describes how 2147 Practice Finance works today. If the contact route, the tools or the hosting arrangement change in a way that affects any statement here, this page changes with them. It carries no “last updated” date, because a date implying a formal review that has not happened would be a false assurance; the methodology page explains that standard.
This page describes actual practice. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for the review the owner must complete before operating a contact service. The terms describe the limits of what this site offers.
